Puig Major, Sa Calobra, Formentor...worlwide known names...
But...who enjoys , who enjoys those hidden, less frequented rises, but that have a great appeal for different reasons? Many times we do not know, do not know where they are, or know whether we can confront their inclines.
Thanks to www.cycling-friendly.com that has a solution. We present you five climbs that you will be willing to do as soon as you read this!
1 - LASSARELL
2 - ES VERGER
His other side, Sobremunt, is more known, but accessible to few road bike cyclists for its hardness. But Es Verger is no slouch in terms of difficulty, with tranches of 11% and 14%, although with some landing.
The views Esporles are a real show and the flow of traffic is also very low.
3 - SON FONT
We continue talking about harsh ramps...this time in Calvia. The area of Son Font, until Cami des Pou, makes clear its characteristics at a glance to his altimetry: harsh landings followed ramps that leave us breathe, to deal more consideration increases.
As in other cases, practically no traffic.
4 - COLL DE SANT LLORENÇ
As in the case of Es Verger with Sobremunt, this climb pays the toll to be next to one of the best in the world, as Sa Calobra.
If we turn to Cala Tuent, we can also enjoy heavenly views, and a climb to a fairly constant inclination but with a demanding average of 6.60%.
5 - COLL DE PALMANOVA
With much denser traffic than the others, this small rise may lead us to Calvia from Palmanova, giving variety to our routes and being a fast track to approach us the Serra de Tramuntana from this seaside town.
