Route and climbs: Port de Sóller - Coll den Bleda - Deià - Coll de can Costa (Sa Pedrissa) - Valldemossa - Bunyola - Santa María - Coll de Sóller - Sóller - Port de Sóller
For all those staying at or setting out from the choice location of Port de Sóller, perhaps from the spectacular Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa, it’s clear that all routes are going to start with a climb.
This route takes in the magnificent views of the coast and the Serra de Tramuntana, beginning with a climb up to Coll den Bleda, one of the easier ascents out of Sóller. After a short section of small climbs and descents, passing through Deià, one of the island’s prettiest villages, you come to a climb with some fairly steep ramps, leading up to Coll de Can Costa.
After you’ve risen to this challenge, you pass through Bunyola and head towards Santa Maria, to return to the outskirts of Bunyola and begin the climb to Coll de Sóller. From the Palma side, this is a gentle, steady climb up the island’s best known mountain.
