Info: Enjoy a route through the mountains, overlooking the sea and discovering the spectacular scenery of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO heritage site. This is a unique experience that only cycling in Mallorca can offer you.

Leaving Paguera, head towards Galilea to tackle the first mountain pass. Continue onwards from Capdellà towards Galilea, following the route to Puigpunyent with your eyes drawn to the view of the highest peak in the area, Puig de Galatzó (1,027 m), and enter this picturesque locality nestling in the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana. Next is another pass, the Superna, Puigpunyent, with its traditional landscapes full of vineyards, orange, olive and almond groves, set against the stunning backdrop of mountains and wooded valleys.

A series of climbs and descents leads to the crossroads at Granja d'Esporles, where you head towards Port d'es Canonge and follow the winding road. The route then continues towards Banyalbufar. This is one of Mallorca’s most picturesque towns, where you can enjoy its mountain pass, Coll de Bastida, and its traditional marjades, ancient agricultural terraces constructed on the steep mountainsides to enable the local farmers to cultivate crops without soil erosion.

There are many places along the road where you can stop and enjoy the views over the sea and mountains, but a particularly good spot is at one of the watchtowers that were once used to relay warnings of pirates arriving on the island. This is the Mirador de ses Ànimes, located between Estellencs and Banyalbufar, offering you the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset where mountain, nature, landscape and bike all join together to symbolise the peace and harmony of this route.

Before finishing the route, there is one more pass to climb, Coll d'es Pi,before reaching Andratx and arriving back at the La Concha Soul hotel.
