Eix Platja Daurada – Formentor

"In the north of Majorca; ideal cycle route for all cycling enthusiasts, eagering to explore the island; medium difficulty, 79.9 km and with slopes of 1,489 m. The route starts and ends at the Hotel Eix Platja Daurada on the beach of Muro, to one of the best places in the world for cycling: Cape Formentor.

Along the route you will pass by lovely settings such as the Natural Park of S'Albufera, the largest wetland area in the Balearic Islands, through the town of Alcúdia, with monuments dating back to 123 BC, and along the Bay of Pollença. From the Port of Pollença, the starting point of the two main climbs: Coll sa Creueta and Talaia d'Albercutx, an effort you will certainly appreciate for the impressive view from the highest point.

During your route, you will cycle to one of the most photographed and described places on the island and the icing on the cake for its natural beauty: the Faro de Formentor (lighthouse). The route is flatter on the way back so enjoy the view! "
